Jody Bergstrom, the Founder and CEO of Camp Alliance, Inc., has dedicated her life to serving and uplifting Service Members, Veterans, and their families (SMVF). Since founding the nonprofit in 2010, Jody has demonstrated visionary leadership guided by the core values of compassion, empowerment, education, and collaboration. Her strategic expertise, honed through years of entrepreneurship and corporate experience, has been instrumental in building Camp Alliance into a powerful advocate for those who have sacrificed for our nation. Jody’s deep commitment to the military community is not just professional but also personal. As a mother of two, Morgan (22) and Samantha (20), and part of an Army Reserve family, she navigated the challenges of military life, including eight deployments and mobilizations over 18 years of marriage. This firsthand experience fuels her passion to serve those who wear the uniform and their families. Her leadership and service have earned her numerous awards, and she holds key roles on several boards and councils, including the Arkansas State Council for Military Children, the Northwest Arkansas Veterans Coalition, and the Governor’s Challenge team for Mental Health, Awareness, and Suicide Prevention. Jody’s dedication continues to shape the lives of countless SMVFs through her unwavering commitment to their well-being.

Laura is the CMCO at Camp Alliance Inc., where she has dedicated over 11 years to serving and uplifting Service Members, Veterans, and their families (SMVF). With a rich background in photography, graphic design, and visual storytelling, Laura brings creativity and strategic vision to initiatives that address mental health, substance use awareness, and community engagement. As the driving force behind the most recent campaign Called2Duty Power-N-Purpose, Laura excels in crafting compelling narratives and data-driven strategies to foster unity and resilience. Her professional expertise spans content development, marketing strategy, event coordination, and advocacy. Outside of work, Laura is a proud mom to three daughters, ages 13, 10, and 9, who share her love for art and creativity. Together, they enjoy painting, crafting, and building intricate Lego sets. Laura’s passion for art, family, and community drives her mission to create meaningful change through both her professional and personal endeavors.

As the Director of the Navigator Program Billy, leads, manages and grows the Navigator initiative (which serves Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF) through workforce navigation, wrap-around support, and partnerships). This role sets the strategic direction, oversees daily operations, ensures program quality and impact, leads a team of navigators and support staff, and collaborates with external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Navigator Program aligned with the organization’s mission and goals. • Oversee program operations: ensure smooth delivery of services (navigation, job matching, credential translation, childcare access, wrap-around supports) to SMVF. • Manage staff: recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, evaluate navigators and support team. • Establish, monitor and report performance metrics and outcomes (e.g., placement rates, retention, participant satisfaction). • Build and maintain partnerships with state agencies, employers, educational institutions, nonprofits and other stakeholders to strengthen the program ecosystem. • Oversee budget planning, fiscal management, and resource allocation for the program. • Lead continuous improvement: evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities for innovation, adapt to evolving needs of SMVF and workforce demands.

Creative Marketing & Media Officer

Reymark Franke serves as the Creative Marketing & Media Officer for Camp Alliance, Inc., where he leads the organization’s visual communications, brand development, and multimedia strategy in support of its mission to serve Service Members, Veterans, and their families. He is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen organizational visibility, stakeholder engagement, and public understanding of Camp Alliance’s programs and impact. Reymark brings a professional background in visual communications, digital media, and strategic storytelling, with experience spanning photography, videography, content production, and social media engagement. His prior service in U.S. Army Public Affairs provided a strong foundation in mission-focused communication, operational messaging, and ethical media practices in support of organizational objectives. In his current role, Reymark oversees the creative direction of Camp Alliance’s marketing and media efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational values, branding standards, and strategic priorities. Through thoughtful storytelling and data-informed outreach, he contributes to advancing Camp Alliance’s public presence, strengthening community partnerships, and expanding awareness of the organization’s services and initiatives across key audiences.

Jenny Barnes serves as the Director of Community Engagement at Camp Alliance, bringing over a decade of experience in sports management, event operations, and communications across the education and athletics sectors. A proud graduate of Washington State University, Jenny holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. Throughout her career, Jenny has cultivated extensive expertise in media relations, game-day operations, and event planning, working with organizations such as the NCAA, and numerous nonprofit entities. In her role at Camp Alliance, she leverages her background to coordinate high-profile events, develop multi-sport curricula, and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Driven by a passion for empowering others, Jenny is deeply committed to mentoring through organizations like the Special Olympics and various child advocacy initiatives. Her personal journey—balancing full-time work and graduate studies as a single mother—epitomizes the perseverance and dedication she brings to her mission of creating meaningful experiences and making a positive impact in the world of sports and beyond.

From Addiction to Service Michael Springer brings unwavering dedication and leadership to his role as the Lead Veteran Peer Support Specialist for Called2Duty, a program dedicated to combating the opioid crisis among veterans. A combat veteran himself, Michael draws from personal experiences with addiction and homelessness, having battled methamphetamine addiction for 16 ½ years. Now 6 years into recovery, he has turned his journey into a mission of service. Through his role, Michael leads with compassion, guiding veterans and their families toward recovery and resilience. His involvement extends beyond Called2Duty, as he also serves as an overdose responder in Lonoke County and a veteran suicide responder for We Are the 22, a suicide prevention organization where he sits as President of the board of directors. Michael's leadership is further demonstrated by his previous service within the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Arkansas and his active role in improving mental health services for veterans. Committed to offering the same hope and support that helped him, Michael continues to mentor others, visiting prisons and speaking at recovery programs. His work is a testament to his passion for uplifting veterans and guiding them on their path to freedom from addiction.

Patrick Hellman is an education leader who believes students deserve a high-quality education and families deserve a school they can trust. He leads with grit, empathy, and a focus on removing barriers for students and families. He’s known for building strong teams, strengthening school culture, and bringing clarity to high-pressure environments. Patrick’s connection to service is personal. His grandfather served in the military as one of the chief engineers on the F-16, and Patrick grew up around the values and realities of the military and Department of Defense community. That background shaped how he sees leadership, responsibility, and the importance of doing right by people. One of his favorite memories growing up was attending Change of Command ceremonies. Patrick has also been a leader in the adolescent mental health space, and that work continues to shape how he supports students and families. He believes great schools combine strong instruction with strong systems of care. Under his leadership, students receive a high-quality education, and families can count on real wraparound support—academically, emotionally, and beyond.

I have a proven track record of writing successful grant applications, securing over $2.5 million within a two-month period, and developing comprehensive grant packages that support diverse community initiatives. My leadership roles include having served as Vice Chair for the Board of Directors for the Ottawa County Boys & Girls Club, as President & Executive Director of Partners for Ottawa County, Inc., and Chairperson of the Ottawa County Health Department's Board of Health. ​ I am honored to be a Gates Millennium Scholar Alumni and a recipient of the Native American 40 Under 40 award given by the The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development.
